The problem MySql setup Not Responding:

MySql setup Not Responding when starting service.
When you install MySql, at the moment when setup should start MySql service, it fails and goes to not-responding state.

The fix for MySql setup Not Responding:

In order to avoid MySql setup Not Responding, Use RevoUninstaller. Uninstall MySql and delete any MySql info or data that RevoUninstaler reports as left on your PC.

  1. Start  Task Manager
  2. go to processes
  3. select explorer.exe and choose end task
  4. go to applications
  5. click on new task
  6. type explorer.exe and ok

Use MySql setup to install a fresh instance of MySql  server.
Configure it as you need. Setup will be able to start the service and finish as expected.
